  • What is the average timeframe to get an appointment?

    It all depends on our workload in the time of year. We can typically service your RV within a week of your service request.

  • How long does the process take on average?

    The process typically takes one business day to complete.

  • Do I need to rent a car during the process and do you have a waiting area?

    We have a very nice lounge (waiting room) which has television and we also have free Wi-Fi. If you’re not the type to hang around all day, you can use your secondary vehicle or rent a car to do some shopping or sightseeing.

  • What all is included in the service?

    The Diamond Shield Removal service includes the complete film removal process, with “No Paint Loss”, and a complementary RV Wash and Wax service.
  • How does it affect the underlying finish?

    No paint loss.

  • Can I install another Protective Film Shield after you remove the old one?

    Yes.

  • What type of ongoing maintenance do you recommend?

    Wax prior to trips so that bugs are not stuck directly to the paint. You should also clean off bug regularly, because their remains are acidic and can damage the paint with prolonged contact.

  • Are the chemicals you use to remove the shield safe to the underlying finish for the long term?

    Yes. Our products are designed specifically for this application. We have spent many years developing our products in collaboration with professional chemists.
